and of course there are many very little rust outbreaks there:

the car is very dirty so rust isn't visible..

PS - why can't I add more than 3 photos?
thanx for help :)

It's because Imageshack hates forums, and forums hate Imageshack.

first pic: That is an integral part of the chassis, when you remove the plastic cover, you will find more. You will need to remove all 4 plastic covers, if the rust is still hard you *might* be able to sand out the rust with a

Those are on sale sometimes for as low as 15 euro. You must get to the other side too, you need to remove the whole interrior behind the front seats at least.

I will not explain right now how and what to do about this, I'm not sure yet if it will hold. But the basic thing is rust stop paint with a pencil. Have a look at http://fotobakje.nl for some hints on this.

Third pic: This won't pass annual inspection overhere. This one needs to be welded professionally and sooner then later, because the NX is now rotting inside and can go beyond reasonable repair real quick this way.

Fourth pic, doubtful. I need to see the inside. I would take the risk here using rust stop.

Fifth pic: That is just a fender, so no big deal. You should choose spending money for another fender and paying the spray painting or be lucky and find a good second hand in the same colour. Also, you could use this stuff

It is availble in black. You need to remove all the loose rust and paint this spot on both sides. Yes, that you will see, but this is the cheap solution.

---

It can be done but you are quite late :( Now you need a welder and a lot of time to invest in rust preventing the whole car. 2 weeks full time labour is nothing, then you even won't be finnished.

Don't forget that you only are looking at the tip of the iceberg of rust here, the rust is comming outside, the inside of the car is much, much worse.

This is what I mean with Hammerrite

The paint was letting loose so I just had to sand it a bit till the rust underneath showed and paint it with rust stop.

You will need to get the interrior out about this far:

This place at all 4 wheels probably isn't so great anymore on your NX

Don't be surprised the underside of the car looks like this:

When you remove the fender, this isn't much rust. This is an ideal place to use a steelbrush on and rust stop.

This won't pass annual inspection but when they not see it... It will pass. However, this is not safe to do, but you would get away with it. And welding here isn't so hard, if it is not good looking, no worries, put the bodykit back in place.

You will need to do this to the inside of the wheelarches (and the outside too as shown on the link of my website) or it is no use, it will just rust away.

Basically, like I explained before, this is just the rust showing outside, inside is much worse. This will take weeks to do this properly yourself and you really *need* to remove the interrior any other solution like welding one hole and some rif raf is not a long term solution.

If you don't do it properly now, better look for another NX chassis and switch everything over. A lot harder, but believe me, it can be a lot quicker.

Wow Richard! Your English is more intelligible than your Dutch! ;D
But, Richard is right, you should really be careful with your rust.

I've told him so many times before XD. On the SR20-forums he's like that as well!
